It’s like there’s no tomorrow
As I look at the place we met
The sun is never rising
It’s always trying to set
The darkness is a reminder
Of all the things that could have been
But it seems none of them were destiny
If you look into deep within
Follow the passages to my heart
Right down to the very core
I don’t mind you looking within me
My heart isn’t my own anymore
It’s always been yours my darling
From the very moment we met eyes
But little did I know that inside
You were really pain in disguise
It’s been a while since I felt like this
By definition it’s depressing but I guess I’m alright
I just want to see you one more time…
If only to look in your eyes
Being alone isn’t half as bad
As still being in love with you
But I guess the sun will eventually riseAnd I can begin my life anew.
